Twiggy is designing her own range of interiors. The Sixties icon, who has helped turn around the fortunes of Marks & Spencer, is to put her trademark nickname to goods ranging from cutlery and glassware to scented candles and soft furnishings. A source close to the former supermodel and actress, whose real name is Lesley Hornby, said that “Twiggy has products up her sleeve for every room in the house. She’s associated with both the style of the Sixties and her very classy older look so it will be interesting to see what designs she will be linked with. There’s a provision for scented candles, lampshades and light fittings as well as curtains, throws and bed linen. She also hopes to trademark her name on mirrors, rugs and carpets. There’s an additional list of very practical things for the kitchen and a comprehensive selection of bathroom items, such as shower curtains, soap and toothbrush holders and towels.”
