Natalia Vodianova retires after 10 years on the fashion stage
While all eyes were on Valentino at the designer’s final ever show during Couture Week in Paris, it seems he wasn’t the only fashion face bowing out at the event. Rumour has it that the show was also the last catwalk outing for Russian uber-model Natalia Vodianova. The 25-year-old mother of three has reportedly decided to “retire” after almost ten years on the fashion stage. “She may do another show in the future, but only for $500,000 or this large pink diamond she’s had her eye on,” an unnamed source revealed to PAGESIX.COM. Vodianova, who famously starred in Valentino’s spring/summer 2008 show a matter of days after giving birth to her third child, has marked Valentino’s retirement and her own decade in fashion by taking the designer to Moscow for a week and then on to Brazil for Carnivale, the report added.
