Whenever she didn’t get her way, the precocious Cruz would cry out, “Woe is me!” she tells US Vogue magazine in its December issue. “My mother always tried not to laugh in front of me,” recalled the star. “I was the most difficult of us. Stubborn, very rebellious. I didn’t want to be told what to do,” she told the magazine. Cruz, who posed for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for these Vogue shots, admitted, “I still do the kicking once in a while.” Her upcoming movie, “Manolete,” co-stars Adrien Brody as a matador fighting to win back Cruz, the woman of his dreams.
