Model Catherine Bailey joins Kate Moss, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Daisy Lowe as the latest celebrity beauty to strip off for cult lingerie brand Agent Provocateur. -year-old Bailey posed in hopes of encouraging women to be confident about their bodies. “I don’t really think about my age,” she told Style magazine. “I only think, hang on, how come I’ve got to this age and still feel the same? People’s attitudes to older models are changing. Why can’t you be sexual? Why can’t you wear underwear and be fabulous? Older women shouldn’t disappear. I want to see them wearing that stuff.” Catherine, who is married to photographer David Bailey whom she met on a shoot for Avon, is seen in racy pictures which were shot in a country house outside Oxford, dressed as a lady of the manor, in charge of two naughty French maids. Asked on why she choosed the forty-something as one of the four faces of the new campaign, co-founder of Agent Provocateur Serena Rees told the Sunday Times: “We have customers aged from 16 to 81. Last time we used Maggie Gyllenhaal, who had just had a baby. This time I wanted to use a woman who was over 40. Don’t they say we have our best sex when we hit 40?”
