The Queen has been named alongside Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Daisy Lowe as one of the world’s most glamorous women. The list was compiled by style bible Vogue for their December glamour issue, which hit stores today. The magazine writes of the 81 year-old monarch that: “She is as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balmoral as she is wearing the crown jewels.” Vogue magazine compiled its top 50 list of today’s glamorous women saying that: “Glamour is about how you wear something, not about what you wear. You can’t buy glamour, and you can’t fake it. But unlike beauty, it’s not something you are born with, though it comes more naturally to some than others.” Models in the top 50 include Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Sophie Dahl, Naomi Campbell, and Daisy Lowe. Actresses include Dame Helen Mirren (who who won an Oscar for her role as the Queen), Vanessa Redgrave, Pride and Prejudice star Rosamund Pike, and Charlotte Rampling
