Interview with Taryn from Vanitas of California
Casual-chic LA-based brand Vanitas of California (Latin for “Vanities”) recreates the vision and passion of three sisters: Taryn Band (sister of Alex Band of the rock band The Calling), sister-in-law Jennifer Sky Band (Alex’s Band wife) and Jennifer’s sister Katie Wacha. Each girl comes from a different creative backgound like photography for Katie, modeling for Jennifer and wholesale for Taryn. This might explain why the sisters do everything themselves from designing, manufacturing, building their website, and even sometimes modeling their own clothes. In the midst of preparation for their Spring 2008 collection, Taryn Band took a moment to talk with GlamBoulevard about their lovely brand.

The prints are a bit weird if you ask me, but the dresses seem good quality. Their blouses look cute as well.

OMG, Seems I have seen the girl on the left before on the celebrity and millionaire dating site named searchingmillionaire.com. Seems she is a model.
