Petra Nemcova explores Possibilities for Ann Taylor
In an effort to modernize their image, Ann Taylor will begin the release of their new beauty products with the premiere of its new women’s fragrance called Possibilities as well as a body care line. Both will be launching simultaneously at all the 350 Ann Taylor stores, in November. Model Petra Nemcova, who recently posed for la Senza, will be the face of the new fragrance. Ads will be running in December issues of fashion magazines, where Petra will pose as a brunette in an elegant dress from the Ann Taylor Celebration line. Created by perfumer Harry Fremont , the fragrance features notes of Bulgarian rose, peach musk water lily, blue rose, and exotic woods. 
The bottle has a prismatic, “cut crystal” design, with pink juice inside. It will be available in three sizes of eau de parfum ($42–$62), a EDP purse spray ($25), a body lotion ($20), and a gift set ($59). Also, $2 from every fragrance purchased from then until the end of the year will go toward Petra’s charity for needy children, the Helping Hearts Fund. Expect even more from the company because the fruity floral fragrance for its lower-tier line, , Ann Taylor Loft is in the works for next fall as well as a second Ann Taylor scent due in November 2008.
