Kanye West turns jewelry designer
Last week, during the Givenchy fashion show in Paris, superstar rapper Kanye West unveiled a prototype piece from his upcoming jewelry line. The 30-year-old has teamed up with artist Takashi Murakami, who also designed the artwork for Kanye’s recent Graduation album, to work on the upcoming Manga-style jewelry collection. The hip-hop artist told WWD that “The’ll be more accessible, they won’t be all diamonds.” Currently, there is no release date for the upcoming line.
