Paris Fashion Week: Yves Saint-Laurent
Fashion designer Stefano Pilati unveiled the Spring 2008 Yves Saint Laurent collection during Paris Fashion Week earlier today. Models showed a wide variety of dresses hanging on one shoulder. Typical parts of masculine clothing such as the vest and the blazer took a feminine turn in the upcoming collection. Another trend to surface next season is the high waisted pants and skirts. The prominence of the Saint-Laurent Spring collection was the jackets joined to the blouses by golden wires. This week, Yves Saint-Laurent also unveiled its new revamped Web site with an online store for U.S. shoppers and special features like short films.
