Paris Fashion Week: Balenciaga
Volume and futurism was a mix that designer Nicolas Ghesquiere came up with for his Balenciaga Spring 2008 collection. The shapes are fantastic, the tops have great volume on the shoulders in different shapes and contruction, the skirts are puffy and the shoulders are padded. But the embroided prints look a bit forced and cheap. Other great designers to present today include Viktor & Rolf, Issey Miyake, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Jeremy Scott. Tomorrow will also be a full schedule with Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Christian Lacroix and Givenchy presenting. Can hardly wait…
