During the presentation of her Spring 2008 collection today in Milan, Miuccia Prada took the audience to an enchanted dreamworld turned into a nightmare with models moving through a maze of green seatings with their hair in matted plaits and dark eye make up. The theme of botanical prints was swirled across green silk pajama style outfits and stiff skirts. Knitted jumpsuits and tops were seen on several models along with staggered stripes of contrasting colors. Trends from other collection emerged with high-heeled shoes and wide-leg trousers. The Prada shows are considered as pivotal for any fashion director, let’s just hope that this one won’t be that much.
