Roberto Cavalli’s collection for H&M is set to debut this coming November, but that didn’t stop him from showing his one-of-a-kind Spring 2008 collection of his Just Cavalli line, today during the Milan Fashion Week. The collection, named “La Mia Africa”, was inspired by African art and incorporates ethnic, exotic and urban looks. Bright colors such as fuchsia, aqua, yellow and red along with bold geometric patterns created a very modern tribal look. The pieces also incorporate elements of ceremonial dress including fringes, patchwork and leather. The designer’s main line, Roberto Cavalli, will be presented on September 26th. Let’s hope it will be more impressive.
