Lipgloss to fight domestic violence
The Body Shop have recently launched the Campaign to Stop Violence in the Home. Portions of the proceeds from their special edition ultra-shiny Hi-Shine Lip Treatment lipgloss will be donated to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in order to support women and children affected by domestic violence. The shimmery, translucent pink gloss retails for $11.50 and offers intense moisturization and conditioning for the lips.
If you are not a fan of lipgloss, the Body Shop is selling 2 other products with part of the proceeds going to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The vegetable Daisy Soap made from daisy extract and moisturizing community trade shea butter from Ghana retails for $4.50 and the mint flavored lip care stick retails for $6.00.
To all the fashionistas and shopping addicts: this is the time to show that we care!
